Accelerated teaching and learning of reading is Room 12's passion. We are a dedicated group of Year 5 and 6 students who try hard to increase our reading levels.
We know that decoding and comprehension are the key focus areas and work hard to improve these by using reciprocal teaching of reading, reading mileage rotation stations and reading tutors within our daily routines.
This term we have created a reading blog which will be integrated into our literacy programme.
